Guest Book:
Linda R. Wyatt Lubbock. Glad to see an organization like this in our
city. I am an avid crotchetier and have sold many of my projects through the
years. I had a booth at Post for almost 10 years but had to quit because
of husband's health. I still crochet name doilies, tablecloths, etc. for
the customers I have had through the ears. Would love to have more info on
the guild and I will contact you about joining.

Community Outreach Page:
From Celia Campos:
(I very much respect the Salvation Army and encourage
everyone to help them as they can.)
I thought that maybe the group could also contribute to the community in a way
that would combine our talents with a special need or tribute. Ideas, which
could be used as springboards:
--Residents in nursing homes who don't have families and who would be blessed
with the gift of a pair of crocheted, knitted,...slippers.
--Something for soldiers or local families of soldiers in Iraq. I saw an article
featuring quilting guild members in Florida who were making quilts for families
of soldiers who died in Iraq. Here is the address for the transcript of that
article: http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0309/04/se.21.html
--making something for children who get rescued from troubled homes....
