These are short little 'how-to' projects we begin
our meetings with in the first hour.
Then in the second hour we work on our own stuff that we bring, which might
include what we learn that night. Or we are also free to explore & ask
questions.
Our very
first meeting
in July 2003 was led by Lael: Wooden Stick Weaving.
August was Fancy
Finishing Touches which was beads added to fringe, including pulling out a
strand or two to raise a pattern of beadwork into the web here & there.
September
18th was Guest Speaker & new member, Sue Shore's introduction to Coiled Baskets with
optional workshop to follow TBA. Probably in April at the Lakeside
Landmark. 
Then Barbara's Instant Woven
Pouch or Pillow. Show here is the first one completed by member, Judy Hook.
October 16th,
a 45 min. presentation by Dawn Berry with optional workshops to follow.
The rest of the evening will be graced by YOUR Loop Knot round tables. (Knitting,
tatting, lace, crochet, et al).
Dawn's presentation was moved to December, launching our Christmas party at
LRAC.

Carla Manny will show us how to Emboss Velvet & then sew a
lovely gift-bag.
Class fee will be $2 to participate. There will be two
or more sewing machines.
A couple more would be awesome.

2004:
January is Cheryl Brewer's charming Wool Felt Work. See how she
made her sewing wallet.
February is shaping up for multiple interests at the same
time:
Marianna Markham will introduce Bobbin Lace with 6 week workshop
option to follow.
"Class fees" will be aprox. $20+ for the bobbin
kit. Class size will be limited to 5 students.

You may choose to learn an area of Paper Craft:
Judy Hook will offer Faux Metal & Leather created with a candle
flame.
Book-making will be presented by Ann Longo & Lyn Stoll.
March is the month in which to see Bead Work: Donniece Smith &
possibly examples by the Ohls!
April: Spinning, Dying, & Weaving demonstration display. Bring yours,
too!
Glynda Eschele's fabulously delicate Shadow
Work
&
Fashion Sewing with Lorraine Brugenstrass are also on the horizon!
May promises Doll Making with the Meyers, combining clay with
fiber.
And it is never too early to start work for the June Exhibit.
